Using the GasRam™

 

THE GasRam™ SHOULD ONLY BE USED BY TRAINED OPERATORS

SAFETY

• Always wear Eye (APR) and Hand Protection
• Be sure you are using a Correct Chemical Agent Device
• Inspect and make sure the probes are clear of obstructions
• Load away From CP and TSA in a place of safety

FIVE PREPERATION STEPS

• Remove cap
• Remove the fuse from the pyrotechnic grenade
• Bend the spoon of the initiation assembly upright to about a 45 degree angle and screw it into the initiation assembly of the gas ram cap
• Keeping the body of the grenade upright, screw it into the bottom nipple of the gas ram cap
• Screw the cap back onto the gas ram

DEPLOY RAM

• Penetrate a building or vehicle with ram
• Remove safety pin
• Wait for agent to deploy
• Reload if necessary to deploy more agent
• Remove ram when safe

AFTER ACTION

• Remove canisters and fuse from ram
• Clean ram
• Store until next use
